2006: Humble Beginnings
Esnad began as a modest fiberglass factory in Sudan, producing modular offices and essential items like bathtubs and soap holders. With a background and deep passion for chemical engineering, founder Mr. Mogahid Yassin (now the Board Chairman) envisioned a much larger future—one rooted in Sudan’s booming oil and gas industry.

2007: A Transformative Investment
Esnad’s trajectory changed forever when Nesma Group, one of the leading conglomerates in Sudan and owners of the TCL franchise, acquired 50% of the company’s shares. This investment enabled Esnad to transition into the oil and gas sector. Rebranded as Esnad Supplies Company, the business rapidly rose to prominence, competing with top multinational contractors and establishing itself as a leader in Sudan’s energy market.

2012: Regional Expansion and First Steps into Malaysia
Esnad began its journey of regional expansion by opening two new offices: one in Ajman, UAE, and the other in Juba, South Sudan, further extending its footprint across the Middle East and Africa. That same year, Esnad ventured into Malaysia, forming a joint venture with SVL Engineering, an Indian company, to establish Gulf Lubes Malaysia. Their first major step was the acquisition of a CO2 plant from Petronas, marking their entry into the biofuels industry.

2014: Scaling Up and Diversifying Operations
Building on its foothold in Malaysia, Esnad expanded its biofuel portfolio with the acquisition of two additional biodiesel plants in Kuala Lumpur. Around the same time, Esnad diversified its portfolio by launching Solarus Agriculture, cultivating over 10,000 acres of alfalfa, corn, and wheat in northern Sudan. This marked its first major venture beyond the energy sector and emphasized its commitment to sustainability.

2017: A New Identity
As Esnad continued to expand its operations into renewable energy and sustainable practices, the company embraced a new chapter by rebranding itself as Esnad Energy. This transformation reflected its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and diversification, signaling its evolution from a traditional oil and gas contractor to a comprehensive energy solutions provider. With a broadened portfolio that included solar panel installations, battery technology, and renewable energy projects, Esnad Energy solidified its position as a forward-thinking leader in both conventional and alternative energy markets, while maintaining its stronghold in oil and gas contracting.

2018: Strategic Investments in Malaysia
Esnad deepened its presence in Malaysia by acquiring YPG Palm International’s biodiesel refinery in Johor. To support its growing operations, the company also invested in a state-of-the-art warehouse in Malaysia’s Free Zone, further solidifying its position as a regional leader in the biofuels industry.

2019: Regaining Full Ownership
Esnad Energy reached a significant milestone by regaining 100% ownership, buying back its shares from Nesma Group. This move restored complete control to the company, paving the way for greater independence and strategic growth.

2023: The Birth of Esnad Global
Recognizing the need to consolidate its expanding ventures, Esnad Global was established as a diversified conglomerate. The group united its existing subsidiaries, including Esnad Energy and Solarus Agriculture, while launching two new ventures: Alden Vara: A recruitment company specializing in manufacturing personnel, such as welders and fabricators, with its first European office in Ireland. SBFoods: A food and beverage company created in partnership with an Egyptian firm to address the food crisis in Sudan, supplying essential goods and stabilizing communities affected by conflict.

2024: Expanding into New Horizons
In 2024, Esnad Global expanded its portfolio by launching two new subsidiaries: Skybound CX and Cleanfly fuels. Skybound CX entered the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector to meet the rising demand for global talent and remote work solutions. Positioned to compete with top providers, it offers innovative services across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. Cleanfly fuels became the second energy-focused subsidiary, specializing in sustainable feedstocks like Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME). Operating from Egypt and Indonesia, it supplies ISCC-certified inputs to biofuel and SAF producers globally, driving the clean energy transition.
